Take Time To Care projects supporting Sunder Rang

At Sunder Rang, they also employ women with different abilities. With the right educational and social opportunities, much can be done to improve the life circumstances of these women, and the results for the women working at the Craft Center are very impressive. During our visit in November 2019, Trine Ravn Gulstad joined us. Trine is founder of Specialsport, a Danish NGO that bridges the gap between children with special needs and sports associations, and worked with a few of the women during our visit. In 2023, we had an optician check and donate glasses to women in need of new ones.

Our first visit to Sunder Rang was in October 2016, and since then, we have visited many times with groups of women to support various capacity-building projects. Our visits focus on product development, and we also assist with photography and marketing initiatives. Some years, we have also donated sewing machines to women in challenging situations or to those getting married, ensuring they can continue using their craft skills in their new villages.
